The Contemporary English Dictionary - The Effective Learner's Companion is based on the revolutionary concept that a dictionary should contain only words that are useful in pragmatic communication. This dictionary also differs from other dictionaries in the entry of words. Most dictionaries would enter the root words with the derivatives listed under them.
